The funeral services for Mrs Elvina C Hartwick, widow of William Hartwick, were held on Monday afternoon from the Federated Church, the Rev C W Null officiating. Burial was in Union cemetery, with services at the graveside by Leona Rebekah lodge, of which she was a member.
Mrs Hartwick passed away Saturday morning following an illness covering approximately eight months. She was a descendant off some of the earliest settlers in El Dorado county, her father Albert Adams, having come to this state across the plains in 1853 and her grandfather, William Pryde, arriving her in 1850.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs T H Brunius, and two grandsons, Keith and Loring Brunius.
